Jenn Dekorah Lee (aka Dekorah) is a singer/songwriter/musician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She plays both piano & acoustic guitar, and her favorite artist of all time is Peter Gabriel.  She has written hundreds of songs, and looks forward to recording as many of them as she can. Several have been recorded & are currently on iTunes, Amazon & more. (The album “333”, produced by Anton Music Productions & 5 singles produced by Justin Ray Miller of Yellow Hammer Studios, Nashville.) While she loves writing ballads, she also explores many genres & world influences. Creating layer upon layer vocal harmonies is one of her favorite things to do.  After years of visiting “Music City”, she lived full-time in Nashville, TN from 2013-2015, to explore songwriting & the music industry in depth. She had the opportunity to work with some of Nashville’s best musicians on her recordings. Now, back in Milwaukee, Dekorah performs select showcases & events in Milwaukee area & Chicago. She still visits Nashville to continue the work she started. Dekorah is available for select solo shows playing originals, or a combination of originals & covers. She is also available, with prior advance, for shows with an acoustic band. Dekorah has had the opportunity to work with stellar local musicians in the area that have learned her songs, and added a unique flair & personality to her material. She feels very lucky to have met & worked with so many amazing musicians throughout the years.

In the past, she has had the opportunity to perform in several rock musicals,  larger bands including The Prince Experience tribute band & the US Project , and many more duos/trios. It has been a wonderful experience for her learning more about performing live in a variety of groups & genres.

She is currently learning home studio production, always writing songs, and preparing for shooting a music video for her song “Quite a Love” featuring Nashville bassist Rudy Z. Indianapolis videographer Gary Higgins will be the producer of this music video.

Dekorah also has performed singing telegrams for  years, focusing on Marliyn Monroe. She is now embarking on a new niche in her singing telegrams performing in full costume Vintage & Nostalgia Songs, with one of her singing partners, Tracy Candisuperstar Sparks. Stay tuned ! J

She continues to collaborate with other songwriters,  teach music & songwriting lessons to kids (part-time),  participate as a founding & active member of MASA – Milwaukee Area Songwriters Alliance, and work on her small independent record label she started in Nashville.
