Dekorah is an introspective Singer / Songwriter / Musician {piano & guitar} who has captured audiences with her signature haunting ballads and vocals, enigmatic yet heartfelt lyrics, catchy melody lines, captivating harmonies, and world music influences. Very active in the local Milwaukee music scene, she performs with several bands and is vigorously pursing her songwriting career in both Milwaukee and Nashville. She has recently been more active in Nashville, recording and pitching her music for film/TV/artists. Her original music is currently avaialble on iTunes, her EP “333″ {produced by Tony Schueller from Anton Music Productions} is finished and for sale at her shows, and she will be recording her new album PARALLEL throughout 2011/2012. Dekorah writes about matters of the heart, soul-searching, forgiveness, “parallel universes”, and personal redemption & revelation.
Dekorah often performs her original music at solo acoustic shows, accompanying herself with piano and guitar. She also performs her original music with a duo, trio, or full band.
